Brewtine Chillaid Shoulder Fired Missile Launcher

Brewtine Chillaid (Z-ML Mk.II) Shoulder Fired Missile Launcher

by Tim Wing

The Brewtine Chillaid (UEDF reporting name: Z-RLG Mk. II) Anti-Aircraft Guided Rocket Launcher was issued to Zentraedi infantry of the Main Fleet. Short range missiles were laser guided. The body of the Brewtine was exceptionally light, being made of woven composite materials. Lightness was a priority in the weapon’s design, as the rocket launcher was meant to be carried in addition to a Chillaid Rodrup IC-AR Assault Rifle. The Brewtine was originally issued in small numbers, but as the war against the Invid ramped up, it found itself being utilized more and more as it was well suited to engaging small airborne targets such as the Iiga Scout Troopers and Gurab Shook Troopers.
