Rockwell Bell SDP-X-1 Anti-Spaceship Veritech, Experimental. (First Stampede prototype.)
The VF-1/SDP-X-1 Veritech, was an experimental anti-spaceship Veritech produced during the First Robotech War. Only one aircraft was produced. The publishers of Mecha Journal apologize for the poor quality of these photos.
Rockwell Bell SDP-X-2 Anti-Spaceship Veritech, Experimental. (Second Stampede prototype.)
The second Stampede prototype was built as a technology demonstrator after the end of the war. It was pursued by Rockwell Bell when it became apparent that their VF-4 Lightning was not going to meet UN Spacy’s fleet defense requirements.
Rockwell Textron SDP-X-3 Anti-Spaceship Veritech, Experimental. (Third Stampede prototype.)
Rockwell Textron SDP-1 Stampede color schemes.
Carrier Air Group Commander’s SDP-1A Stampede, assigned SVF-65 aerospace fighter squadron on-board the UES Themistocles (a Tokugawa-class Super Dimensional Carrier).
Though colorful, this livery was not representative a typical SDP-1 paint scheme. Most Stampedes were finished overall in gull gray with flat black leg and booster units.
